Houdini Interactive is a full-service creative design and development studio based in Spokane, WA. We create anything in the land of digital for clients all over the country. As an agile team of PNW locals, we like to dream up the impossible and figure out how to make it reality, stepping outside of what has been the standard in marketing and learning how to expand the norm through technology.

The Opportunity

We have an open full time/contract position for a Digital Producer who has experience in managing teams in custom software and digital experiences for various platforms (web, mobile apps, AR, VR, Spark AR, Tik Tok, etc). We are successful by cultivating strong client relationships, so our Producers are vital to build a solid foundation. The right Digital Producer will be extremely detail oriented, task driven, entrepreneurial, highly organized, and self-driven with  a passion for excellence. We are an agile team of software and marketing professionals, with an office in the heart of Downtown Spokane, WA. As applicable, we are open to a contract to hire arrangement.

Your Responsibilities

• Liaising with colleagues to implement technical designs
• Analyze user requirements and convert requirements to technical documents as needed
• Possess up-to-date knowledge of industry standards
• Test software project to ensure strong functionality and optimization
• Compile comprehensive and accurate documentation and or reports as requested
• Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers
• Possess strong problem solving and decision-making skills while using good judgment
• Collaborate closely with the Houdini team to ensure a high-quality implementation
• Communicate your knowledge and expertise well in meetings with our clients and partners
• Work with the sales team as the contract is signed, becoming familiar with contract requirements, project modifications, and other project-specific background information
• Manage and assume accountability for all aspects of projects related to delivery of client projects and services
• Conduct planning sessions with the client’s key stakeholders
• May be responsible for ensuring assigned clients pay invoices in a timely manner 
• Ensure that resources are scheduled and monitor progress to ensure compliance with the project plan, immediately notifying affected parties of any schedule issues or concerns
• Use Houdini’s tools to publish a summary of key dates and issues to all team members and stakeholders involved in the project, such as development, implementation, support, and other project managers
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding project status and quality of service and take immediate corrective action as required
• Anticipate, identify, and resolve roadblocks, such as hardware, software, or networking incompatibilities and unresponsive third party vendors or clients
• Communicate completion of milestones/deliverables to clients and secure formal acceptance from them
• Upon project completion, conduct project close reviews to learn what is working and areas of opportunity for improvement
• Communicate with the leadership team regularly, ensuring timely delivery of schedules and revenue projections; relaying personnel, client, contract, and departmental issues; seeking assistance as needed
• Identify upsell opportunities and manage contract addendum and change orders
• Travel to client sites as needed
